Donald Tucker

Few people have left the legacy in government that Speaker Don Tucker has made in the state of Florida. After his service in the United States Army, Don Tucker attended Brigham Young University, and the University Of Florida School Of Law, earning both a juris doctorate and one of the top scores on the Florida Bar Exam. After serving as a City Attorney, County Attorney, County Prosecutor and School Board Attorney, Don was elected to the Florida House of Representatives. Quickly rising to power Don was elected Speaker of the House, and was reelected as such, becoming the only man in the history of Florida to serve as Speaker of the House presiding over four regular sessions of the Florida Legislature. Speaker Tucker also made a mark on the national and international level, being nominated to serve as Vice Chairman of the Civil Aeronomics Board, and serving as Special Ambassador to the Dominican Republic.
